Biography

Naohiro Masuda is Managing Executive Officer of Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings, Inc. and President of Fukushima Daiichi Decontamination and Decommissioning Engineering Company (FDEC). He has about 30 years of experience in the nuclear industry and he started the career as an electrical and I&C engineer. When he was site superintendent at Fukushima Daini NPS, he achieved the successful recovery of all the 4 units responding to the earthquake and tsunami on March 11, 2011. Since April 2014, FDEC was established, he has been working as President, Chief Decommissioning Officer of FDEC.
