Biography

Ian Gordon is Section Head of the Waste Technology Section at the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency). The Waste Technology Section assists IAEA Member States in the management of radioactive waste resulting both from the nuclear fuel cycle and from nuclear applications in health, industry, science and agriculture. Before working at IAEA, Ian worked at Sellafield (UK). Ian is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and was elected to Fellowship of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in 2006.
