Andrew Conant is a Ph.D. student in Nuclear Engineering at Georgia Tech. He received his B.S. in 2014 and M.S. in 2015 from Georgia Tech in the same field. His Master's thesis research focused on uncertainty quantification of isotopes in spent fuel as a function of reactor operating conditions for nuclear forensics applications. His current research involves analysis of reactor conditions to aid in the development of antineutrino detection as a non-intrusive monitor of reactor operational status. He is currently a DOE/NNSA Nuclear Nonproliferation International Safeguards (NNIS) Fellow and has pursued a minor in nuclear security and nonproliferation.
