The University of Manchester
I’m originally from Preston, a small city in the North West, UK. I studied for my undergraduate degree in Chemistry at The University of Manchester. Following this I started postgraduate research at the Dalton Nuclear Institute at The University of Manchester investigating. My PhD project focuses on the effect of PuO2 surfaces on the yield of hydrogen from the radiolysis of adsorbed water. In my spare time I compete to represent the North of England at Lacrosse and the University team in the top league in the country.
