Biography

Michael Renda, Software Engineer at Qualtech Systems, Inc. is currently involved in enhancing QSI’s product portfolio with modern augmented reality / virtual reality (AR/VR) capabilities. This work has manifested in QSI’s AR/VR Designer, a tool that enables military instructors to author AR/VR scenes used to train students in an immersive context. In addition, he has leveraged photogrammetry tools to develop a 3D capture iOS app, allowing instructors to convert their own machinery into 3D models and feature them in educational content created via the AR/VR Designer. Mr. Renda holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science & Economics from Wesleyan University.
