Biography

David Trimble serves as a Director at the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) in Washington DC and has more than 30 years of government service. Mr. Trimble provides leadership and oversight on US and International Nuclear Security and Cleanup issues, including environmental cleanup, the U.S. government’s environmental liabilities, nonproliferation, and radiological security. Prior to GAO, Mr. Trimble worked for the Department of State, serving as the Director of the Office of Defense Trade Controls Compliance.
