Claudio Pescatore, PhD, is an international figure and mover in RWM and decommissioning. Presently a Researcher at Sweden's Linnaeus University and an independent consultant, he was 10 years at Brookhaven National Laboratory and 25 years at the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency. He is one of the fathers of the modern safety case for disposal and forwarded the field of WM governance. He started and managed the NEA RK&M project and, in 2019, he presided the organisation of the workshop Information and memory for future decision making – radioactive waste and beyond in Stockholm.
