Biography

Carl Reinhold Bråkenhielm is senior professor at the Department of Theology, Uppsala University, Sweden and chairman of the Swedish National Council for Nuclear Waste since 2013. His research concerns nuclear waste ethics and issues related to the study of science and religion. During 2015 to 2017 he was leading a John Templeton funded project on this issue, Publications in English include “Nuclear Waste, Ethics and Responsibility for Future Generations” (together with Mikael Stenmark) in Nuclear Waste State-of-the-Art Report 2004. Stockholm 2004 and Ethics and the management of high level nuclear waste in Journal of Risk Research (Issue 3-4, 2015, pp. 392-406).
