Biography

Anibal E. Morales is an electrical engineering senior at Florida International University in Miami, FL. He is a Department of Energy Fellow, working in the Sensors and Robotics Lab at the Applied Research Center and developing inspection tools for D&D processes in nuclear sites. He has interned at Argonne National Lab, working on Augmented Teleoperation of robots for D&D applications. During the summer 2018, Mr. Morales visited the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, where he also studied Nuclear Safety. He wishes to pursue a PhD abroad and plans to work for the International Atomic Energy Agency to continue promoting the safety use of nuclear energy.
