Biography

Dr. Amy Heineke is a professor at Loyola University Chicago, where she prepares educators for work with multilingual learners. She has published eight books and over 65 peer-reviewed articles focused on educational policy and practice for multilingual learners. Dr. Heineke regularly works with teachers across the United States and Latin America to build professional capacity for language learners. Her career began as a Kindergarten teacher in Phoenix, Arizona.
