Biography

Hyun Young Kim is a researcher at KINAC(Korea Institute of Nonproliferation and Control), where contributes to the peaceful uses of nuclear energy by implementing core measures including: Safeguards, Export Control, Physical Protection, Cyber Security. She received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), South Korea, in 2013. She was a post-doctoral researcher from the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) until 2017. Since 2017, she has been a senior researcher in KINAC. She is currently working at the R&D division and charged in destructive chemical analysis of nuclear materials in environmental and process samples.
