Biography

James Tanner is the contractor lead and facilitator for the Savannah River Site Citizens Advisory Board. He has worked with the local EM-SSAB for over nine years and in that time has become deeply interested in stakeholder engagement and their role in public policy. Research areas include public involvement, political philosophy, and public administration. In his spare time, he volunteers at his daughter’s elementary school by reading books aloud and making up the voices as he goes along.
