Biography

Lisa Edwards is a Senior Technical Executive in the Nuclear Fuels and Chemistry program at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), and was appointed as a Commissioner to the Texas LLRWD Compact Commission in 2018. Lisa was the 2018 recipient of the M. Said (Sarge) Ozkar Award and the EPRI LLW Program received the the Richard S. Hodes Award in 2014. Lisa has 18 years nuclear power plant experience and received her SRO from the US NRC in 2001. Edwards received her Bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Cornell College, Mount Vernon, Iowa where she graduated Magna Cum.
