Biography

David Stefanko is a mechanical engineer at the Savannah River Site with 31 years of experience. He has provided design improvements for several pieces of equipment that has been incorporated into SRS facilities. He has experience in vibration analysis of rotating machinery and identifying problems during the pre-deployment testing of high-level (radioactive) waste tank and separations equipment at the Savannah River Site (SRS). His work has resulted in design improvements and extended equipment life. Mr. Stefanko is presently a Design Authority Engineer supporting the operation of Soil and Groundwater Remediation Technologies.
