Biography

Dr. Rebecca Frus is a hydrologist with the U.S. Geological Survey in the Nevada Water Science Center, Henderson Nevada. Since joining the USGS, Dr. Frus has worked on a wide variety of hydrogeologic topics on the Nevada National Security Site including interpretations of aquifer hydraulics from pump and slug tests, geochemistry evaluations of groundwater flow, refining conceptual models of intraborehole flow, and establishing processes for long-term storage of geochemical data. Her current work is also focused on developing and testing new technologies for collecting samples that are representative of stable- and radio-isotope concentrations in groundwater.
