Biography

Robert Plana is the Chief Technology Officer of ASSYSTEM Group in charge of the Innovation strategy and leading the program “Engineering Powered by Digital”. During his career he has brought contribution in the field of Internet of Things, Smart Systems, predictive maintenance and Systems Engineering. He has also been very active in the developping Innovation Ecosystem through partnerships and alliances with Universities, Research organization and startups. He is now pioneering the convergence between big data, artificial intelligence and Model based System Engineering in the field of Nuclear, Railway transportation and defense.
