Biography

For the past 17 years, I have dedicated my career to supporting English language learners in various settings; special education, general education, and most recently, dual language. My work has focused on building culturally responsive classrooms and empowering students to thrive academically and personally. I am passionate about creating opportunities that honor students’ identities, languages, and strengths while also partnering with families and communities to ensure success. Through my experience as an educator and instructional leader, I strive to cultivate environments where all learners feel valued and are equipped to reach their full potential.
