Biography

Mr. Farnsworth has a BS and MS in Chemical Engineering (Univ. of Washington, 1980 & 1988). He worked for Pacific Northwest Laboratory at Hanford from 1990 to 2000 and has worked from 1990 to 2019 at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL). His career has primarily focused on the development and implementation of various technologies used to remediate radioactive wastes within the U.S. Department of Energy complex. Currently, he is the process/system engineer over a fluidized-bed steam-reforming system that is used to remediate Sodium Bearing Waste at the INL, via the Integrated Waste Treatment Unit.
