Biography

Stephan Alraun joined TÜV NORD EnSys in 2004 and worked in the field of heat Transfer and fluid mechanics especially concerning - Transport and storage cask for spent nuclear fuel- Assessment of the cask with repect to the stable removal of the decay heat - Assessment of the cask with repect to the admissible inventory temperatures - Support of the licencing process for interim storage casks with repect to the thermal loads on the cask and the fuel. Since 2017 he ist Project Manager in the workfield of radioactive waste Management, concerning qualification of waste packages for disposal and, if required, interim storage.
