Biography

Mr. Scott Kirk is the Manager of Environmental Compliance & Waste Disposal Authority for Savannah River Mission Completion LLC responsible for compliance/permitting for Liquid Operations at the Savannah River Site. He also served as Vice President of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs for WCS responsible for successfully licensing a new commercial facility for the disposal of Class A, B and C LLW. He prepared a petition for rulemaking for GTCC LLW and a license application for interim storage of spent nuclear fuel in Texas. Scott was the recipient of 2017 Richard S. Hodes Award. He received a M.S. in Environmental Health, B.S. in Geology/Physics, and is a Certified Health Physicist.
