Sr. Systems Performance Analyst U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Received a B.S. in Geological Sciences and a M.S. from the University of Wisconsin, completing his doctorate in natural science at the Technical University of Berlin. Past experience included developing groundwater flow models to optimize groundwater extraction and to estimate groundwater discharge in construction areas, and completing a hydrogeological study of the Nile Delta Aquifer entailing prognoses on saltwater intrusion. Joined the U.S. NRC in 1999 to become the lead for unsaturated and saturated flow (under isothermal conditions) issues for the proposed Yucca Mountain repository. Worked as an analyst in the Performance Assessment Branch carrying out performance assessment analyses and groundwater reviews
