Andra
Catherine DRESSAYRE is a safety engineer and works at Andra, the french nuclear waste management Agency since 1993. Before Andra, she was in the CEA, the french Commissariat of atomic energy, as a student to prepare a PhD in earth sciences of the Paris-Sud University. Actually, her job is especially about the safety reports and the studies of safety and memory keeping of the Centre de la Manche disposal facility (CSM). The CSM is the first french disposal facility for LILW-SL radioactive waste, today closed and under surveillance. It is where Andra and France established the first multi-barrier concept and initial waste acceptance criteria for near surface disposal.
