Biography

Dr. Broms is an applied statistician with over ten years of experience in ecological and environmental statistics. Her areas of expertise include Bayesian hierarchical models, dependent data with spatial and spatio-temporal correlations, multivariate responses, survey design, and programming in R. Dr. Broms has written many papers to provide statistical guidance on dimension reduction, Bayesian frameworks, cross-validation for model selection, and model assessment. At Neptune, her projects include the continued analysis of ecological data, the employment of Neptune's structured decision-making software, and the development of distributions for predictive performance models.
