Biography

I studied Chemistry, Geochemistry and Mineralogy at the University in Tübingen, Germany. My thesis for PhD was on Lead Isotopes as Tracers in Rehabilitation of Uranium Mining Sites. After employment by the Wismut GmbH I worked as a Post-Doc on the isotope geochemistry of natural reactors of Oklo and enviromental Georadiochemistry. I was occupied with the Long-Term Safety of Asse Research Mine, where low and intermediate radioactive waste is disposed. Since 2007 I am employed as an expert at GRS gGmbH Department for waste management safety. My main topics are consulting in Geochemistry, Radioactive Waste Management, Longterm safety of disposal facilities and development of regulations.
