Biography

After a Master’s Degree in Chemical Process Engineering, Raphaèle worked as a Process Engineer mainly in nuclear industry. Her experience includes engineering and construction phases in several segments of the nuclear fuel cycle: uranium ore extraction and purification, uranium enrichment, radioactive waste and effluent treatment and fuel reprocessing. Raphaèle is currently Project Manager on the Cigéo Project in ANDRA. ANDRA is currently implementing the detailed engineering phase of the stepwise design of Cigéo – the French High-Level Waste (HLW) and Intermediate-Level Long-Lived Waste (ILW-LL) Deep Geological Repository. Raphaèle is in charge of contractual and technical supervision of Nuclear Mechanical Handling and Funicular contractors.
