Biography

Layne F. Pincock is a systems engineer at Idaho National Laboratory involved in the management of spent nuclear fuel owned by the Department of Energy. He has been involved in a wide variety of different projects over his career, including supporting the Total System Performance Assessment of DOE spent fuels at the Yucca Mountain repository, and supporting fuel cycle research and development. Most recently, he has been updating and maintaining a database of DOE spent nuclear fuels and providing data and answers to various customers. His education includes a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University.
