Biography

Mr. Elder is an ASNT NDT Level III in ultrasonic (UT), visual testing (VT) and magnetic particle testing (MT). A graduate of the NDT program at Hutchinson, Minnesota and the Nuclear Metallurgy program at the Beattie Technical Institute in Pittsburgh PA. Mr. Elder has 35 years NDE experience working in various industries developing remote NDE inspections such as the UT program for SRS high level waste tanks which he has lead since 1994. Mr. Elder Specializes in remote inspection. A member of the ASNT Ultrasonic Testing committee, published in peer-reviewed publications and a reviewer of ASNT Ultrasonic Handbook.
