Biography

Taiji Chida is Associate Professor of Graduate School of Engineering, Tohoku University since August 2020. Before that, he belonged to Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry from 2004 to 2013. He has a BE, ME and Dr. Eng. degree from Tohoku University. He has about 20 years of experience in studying the performance assessment of radioactive waste disposal system, mainly the dynamic behavior of silicic acid, the radionuclide migration in cementitious materials, and the interaction between silicic species and cementitious materials.
