Biography

Dr. Chung is a senior researcher in the R&D division at Korea Institute of Nuclear Nonproliferation and Control. He earned his Ph.D. in nuclear engineering from the University of Florida in 2014 and has experience in the production, measurement, and physics of neutrons and neutron-detection applications including non-destructive assay of spent fuel, fission rate measurements, and the detection of special nuclear material (SNM) in cargo containers.
