Biography

J. Delay is scientific project manager at the R&D department at Andra. Prior to this position Secretary General of the Implementing Geological Disposal of Radioactive Waste Technology Platform (IGD-TP). His particular emphasis is hydrogeological and hydro-geochemical characterization of deep aquifers and aquitards. He has more than 30 year experience in this domain. He served 12 years as scientific head of the Andra’s Underground Research Facility in Bure. Thus he was responsible for the design, execution, and analysis of underground experimental programs for radioactive waste disposal in France
