Biography

I am a Materials Science and Engineering MEng graduate at The University of Sheffield and a second year PhD student at the NUcleus Immobilisation Science Laboratory and HADES facilities. I have a research focus on thermal processing techniques for spent and degraded nuclear fuels/fuel debris, in support of conditioning UK spent nuclear fuel stockpiles as well as decommissioning of the Chernobyl and Fukushima sites. I also teach British Sign Language, help manage & teach outreach sessions in local schools with intermittent volunteering for a UK hospice.
