Biography

Christopher Excellent is an undergraduate student at Florida International University (FIU) seeking to obtain a bachelors of science in Mechanical Engineering. At FIU, Christopher is part of many prestigious programs; He is a second year McNair Scholar, an Invitational Scholar, a 5000 Role Models Wilson Scholar, and a Department of Energy (DOE) Fellow. As part of the DOE Fellows program, Christopher is working on the Development of a Peristaltic Pipe Crawler that will serve to aid in the inspection of pipes containing high level waste. Upon obtaining his bachelors of science in Mechanical Engineering, Christopher intends to pursue his PhD in Robotics.
