Biography

Worked for 25 years and since 2005 within the UK nuclear industry in both scientific consultancy and regulatory role. Now, Nuclear Regulator with the Environment Agency, applying my background in soil and groundwater contaminant fate and transport, geology and hydrogeology to regulation of the Low Level Radioactive Waste Repository (LLWR), located near Drigg, west Cumbria. Also, decommissioning & clean up projects, as well as involvement in the scrutiny of the organisational development of Radioactive Waste Management Ltd (RWM Ltd) who are responsible for developing a geological disposal facility.
