Biography

Maggie Bartlett, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Inclusive Early Childhood Education at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. With over 25 years of experience in the field, her work is rooted in disability justice for children with dis/abilities and their families and is informed by critical theories and intersectionality. Dr. Bartlett’s teaching and research focus on the experiences of young children with dis/abilities and their families, advocating for inclusive, equitable, and socially just early learning and care. Her scholarship seeks to challenge systemic barriers and promote transformative practices that honor the diverse identities and rights of all children.
