Biography

I am a Professor of Ophthalmology and Glaucoma and Anterior Segment Specialist at the Storm Eye Institute, Medical University of South Carolina. My clinical and surgical practice focuses on complex glaucoma, including MIGS, micropulse and laser-based treatments, and extended drug delivery. I lead multiple clinical trials aimed at advancing safer, more effective surgical and laser therapies for glaucoma. My research emphasizes real-world surgical outcomes and patient quality of life. As Glaucoma Fellowship Director, I am deeply committed to surgical education and mentorship, and to preparing the next generation of ophthalmic leaders in complex surgical decision-making and innovation.
