Biography

Heatherly is currently BWXT’s President for the Technical Services Group and has over 30 years of experience in the nuclear industry with experience in diverse areas such as project management, operations, engineering, waste management, maintenance, nuclear safety and criticality safety, deactivation and decommissioning, and nuclear materials management. The majority of her career has been at the Savannah River, West Valley, and the Portsmouth sites whose assignments spanned reactor restart, deactivation and/or demolition of ~200 facilities, construction support for the Salt Waste Processing Facility, disposition and storage of vitrified high level waste canisters, and non-destructive assay characterization of enrichment facilities for decommissioning.
