Biography

Julie Goeckner is the Sr. Advisor for Safety Culture for DOE’s Office of Environment, Health, Safety, and Security and the Executive Secretary for the DOE Safety Culture Improvement Panel. She has 40 years of experience with the Federal government supporting DOE HQ and DOE sites across the complex. She is a recognized expert in the fields of Nuclear Safety Culture, SCWE, and Employee Concerns Programs. Ms. Goeckner is a certified lead instructor for the DOE National Training Center and facilitates leadership safety culture courses, leads safety culture assistance visit teams to evaluate organizational climate, and advises/supports senior leaders on strategies to foster safe behaviors to operational excellence.
