Biography

Bill Hamel is currently the Assistant Manager for the River & Plateau with the Richland Office (RL) and is responsible for the all Hanford Site cleanup scope except for the Tank Farms & Waste Treatment Plant. Bill has 28 years of Federal experience with RL, Office of River Protection (ORP), Idaho Operations Office - Nuclear Energy (NE-ID), & the West Valley Demonstration Project. Bill has served in numerous additional senior federal management positions including the Assistant Management for Safety & Environment (RL), Assistant Manager/Federal Project Director for the Waste Treatment Plant (ORP), and the Assistant Manager for Infrastructure Support (NE-ID).
