Biography

Adrian Simper joined the NDA in October 2005 from British Nuclear Fuels (BNFL). Adrian joined the nuclear industry in Research and Development at Sellafield. His subsequent career, all in the nuclear sector, has taken him through roles in R&D and technology; project delivery; commercial and finance both in the UK and the US and usually with the word “strategy” somewhere in the job title. Adrian has a PhD in mathematics and is a chartered mathematician. In addition to his role as NDA Strategy & Technology Director, Adrian runs a traditional sheep farm in the Lake District.
