Biography

As the newest member of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Bobby Janecka leads the TCEQ Border Initiative and serves as the State Liaison Officer for Texas with the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission. His previous experience includes roles in the Office of the Governor, Texas House of Representatives, and Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, which encompassed a broad range of issues focused on state legislative policy. He is a graduate of the Texas A&M Bush School of Government and Public Service, the University of Texas at Dallas, and the Governor’s Executive Development Program at the University of Texas LBJ School of Public Affairs
