Biography

Charles McCombie is an strategic and technical advisor to various national and international waste management programs. Currently, he is President of the Arius Association. He has over 45 years experience in the nuclear field, with almost 20 years as technical director of the Swiss national disposal programme. He is an author or co-author of over 150 published papers and served on numerous review and advisory bodies, including the Board on Radioactive Waste Management of the US National Research Council . Dr. McCombie has a PhD in Physics.
