Nye County
Leo Blundo has lived in Nevada for more than 25 years before being elected to the Nye County Board of Commissioners in 2018. He served from 2019-2022. During his term, Commissioner Blundo was the board's liaison on nuclear issues including the proposed Yucca Mountain Nuclear Waste Repository and sat on the Nevada Site Specific Advisory Board (NSSAB). He served as Chairman of the County's Board of Highway Commissioners and Chairman of the Nye County Regional Transportation Commission. He is passionate about filling potholes for constituents and addressing difficult kick-the-can issues such as Yucca Mountain and the nuclear storage issues facing the nation. Commissioner Blundo represented Nye County's Commission District IV in Nevada.
