Biography

Robert Edwards joined Newport News Nuclear BWXT Los Alamos (N3B) in June 2023 to serve as Environment, Safety, Health & Quality (ESH&Q) program manager, responsible for the execution of safety and health programs at N3B. Robert ensures ESH&Q requirements are integrated into all work processes and work is performed safely and in compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations as well as Executive Orders and orders from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). He is also responsible for risk assessment, regulatory reporting, development of high-quality safety documents and representing N3B to the DOE Office of Environmental Management and local, state and federal regulators.
