Biography

Stuart MacVean is President and CEO of Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLC responsible to DOE for safe, effective and efficient management and operations of the Savannah River Site. He has over 30 years of experience working in the DOE complex. Prior to SRNS, he served as a vice president of Operations for Fluor Government Group’s Environmental and Nuclear business line providing oversight of DOE EM projects for Fluor, including SRS, Portsmouth, Paducah, and Idaho. Previously, he served as President of the liquid waste contractor at SRS, and as a vice president at AECOM. MacVean has served as Executive Director for Spent Fuel at the Sellafield site in the U.K.
