Biography

Betsy Connell is the Associate Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Office of Regulatory and Policy Affairs. Betsy has an impressive set of credentials with more than 30 years of public and private sector technical and management experience. She has worked in many areas of the Department including serving as senior staff to several Presidential appointees and a senior advisor to the Deputy Laboratory Director at the Idaho National Laboratory. She served as a Brookings Fellow working with a member of Congress, who served on the House Energy and Water Appropriations Subcommittee.
