Biography

In 1996 Darrell completed his PhD in Metallo-supramolecular Chemistry at the University of Cambridge in the UK. He then joined Johnson Matthey, a UK chemical company, where he designed three-way catalysts for gasoline vehicles. In 2007 he moved to the nuclear industry working for the UK's National Nuclear Laboratory. In 2008 he moved to the UK's Nuclear Decommissioning Authority to manage its R&D programme. He is currently responsible for technical assurance across the NDA estate. His main technical area of interest at the moment is Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.
