Hadassah Medical Center
Prof. Shahar Frenkel, Head of the Ocular Oncology Unit at Hadassah Medical Center, Jerusalem, Israel, is a clinician-scientist specializing in intraocular and ocular surface tumors. He invented the Sadwich Plaque Technique for eyelid brachytherapy. His current research focus is the development of new anti-cancer treatments. Prof. Frenkel served on the ISOO executive committee and organized the Argentina and Cleaveland ISOO meetings.
