Dr. Abdulla Shaheen is a distinguished medical professional, born and educated in Bahrain. He earned his medical degree with honors from the Arabian Gulf University. Currently, he holds a position as a research fellow at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Dr. Shaheen's primary research interests lie in big data analysis and leveraging artificial intelligence to revolutionize the diagnosis and management of glaucoma. His approach aims to harness technology to improve patient outcomes and advance the understanding of glaucoma's complex nature. Alongside his academic pursuits, Dr. Shaheen is also deeply committed to community service and often participates in medical camps providing eye care to underprivileged communities. In his leisure time, Dr. Shaheen is an avid soccer player and enjoys swimming.
