Biography

Vanessa Reyes has been teaching in Chicago and its suburbs for over 20 years. She has taught in Early Childhood as an EL, SPED and bilingual teacher. She is passionate about leveraging linguistic repertoires, translanguaging and SLIFE advocacy with students from Early Childhood through college. She currently works as a dual language teacher in District 102 LaGrange. Vanessa is a Doctoral Student and adjunct professor at Lewis University.
