Biography

Dr. Rosado Rasmussen earned a doctoral degree in Bilingual Studies from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Her research focused on implementing Culturally Relevant Pedagogy where emergent bilinguals participate. She understands the importance of knowledge and language as a form of student empowerment. Her position as a former State Dual-Language Coordinator and administrator in Texas has allowed her to share her expertise with many educators, bilingual families and administrators.
